Deaf awareness day a great success!!

Deaf awareness week was 28th June to 4th July, and to mark the occasion, Silent Sounds UK Ltd, hosted a event to promote Deaf Awareness day at Northwick Park Hospital in Harrow.



The day was a great success, and we generated a lot of interest from staff, patients and members of the general public alike. We received many enquiries regarding providing deaf awareness training within the hospital, and there was a huge interest in our "Introduction to British Sign Language" courses.

The event was attended by the new Mayor of Harrow, Councillor Asad Omar, and Fiona Wise, Chief Executive of the North West London Hospitals trust, who both took a lively interest in the proceedings, and expressed their admiration for our efforts to raise deaf awareness in the local community.
